Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does "tallawah" mean?

A: Tallawah is a patois (Jamaican dialect) word meaning strong, fearless, and not to be underestimated.

“Wi lickle but wi Tallawah” is a common saying in Jamaica, meaning although we're a small nation, we are a very strong-willed, determined people, and we refuse to be restrained by boundaries or preconceived notions.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: We only have standard shipping to US, Canadian, and Caribbean addresses at this time.  If you live outside of these locations, please contact us as we might be able to make special arrangements.

Q: What is your Return Policy?

A:  We're happy to provide exchanges or store credit; no refunds.

All exchanges are dependent on existing stock. Notice must be given to within 14 days of receipt for any problems or concerns with merchandise. Once we receive your request, we will issue you an RA#. Items must be in their original, as-new condition with the packing slip.  Any store credit we issue will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

Tallawah Collective is not responsible for shipping charges for returns. Please note: all orders processed with a discount code or sale price are final sale and may not be returned.  Please contact us prior to mailing any items for exchange.

Q: What is your turnaround time?

A: We generally ship within 3 business days of payment, assuming the item is in stock.  Fulfillment time for backordered items may vary, but will generally take between 10-15 business days to ship.
